THE CHALLENGE

One of the biggest challenges our client was experiencing is that the email productivity tool space is fiercely competitive. There are hundreds of companies competing in this same space in the SERPs.

Amitree was investing in organic content and wanted to be able to compete with larger brands.

THE STRATEGY

We supported Amitree by putting together a backlinking plan to increase referring domains, referring pages, and domain authority to build more trust with Google and a credible source. 

Nectr then began targeting domains with high DA in relevant industries to post informative guest blogs which link back to Amitree. We included relevant anchor text for each link to give Google additional context for each of our pages. 

THE EXECUTION

From June 2021 to May 2022, we slowly increased the number of backlinks to the site from 5 to 15 per month to support our strategy and goals. 

THE RESULTS

Each month, we saw increases in all three KPIs: referring pages, referring domains, and domain authority. 

Our secondary KPIs were an increase in keyword rankings and organic traffic. During this same time window, Amitree saw a ~400% increase in keywords rankings in the top three spots in Google and an ~500% increase in organic traffic.
